A sentiment taken from Neil Gaiman’s Tumblr.
I love my birthday and have already started searching for perfect gifts for myself. I stumbled across this Etsy shop Kin Ship Press and just loved it. So to make my husband’s life a little easier, I will start gathering wishes from now on and share them with you.
I am a massive nerd, so when I saw this Dalek shirt on Amazon I wished very hard for it to no avail. I therefore did the only thing left; ordered it myself. For those who do not know, this is from Dr. Who.
Buttondown Old Navy, Tie Vintage, Jeans Only, Shoes Nine West, Earrings George Jensen
After battling a cold for 6 days today I finally feel a little better, perhaps because I have passed it on to my daughter. The sun is shining, the weather is gorgeous and I am getting ready to hit some thrift stores for necklaces and perhaps a bowtie. I love this modern twist on the Annie Hall look and could even wear this to school on Fridays.
The shoes were a Christmas bargain and an exchange. I have been looking for shoes just like this to get me through the winter. The earrings just scream classic and were a present from last year’s Christmas. What’s not to love about casual cool?
Sweater and dress H&M, Buttondown Old Navy, Boots BearPaw
Nevermind the still messy house in the background, I cannot find my camera stand so it is hanging from a hook here to take this daily picture. My husband hates these boots, nicknamed the Pocahontas boots, but I say if you live in Wisconsin ugly furry boots are a necessity. This is taken as we got ready to exchange various presents and I just needed warmth.
Gold Sweater Francesca’s Clothing, Shorts, Anthropolgie, Tights H&M, Boots Bandolino
The final day of school before break and I just want to look and feel excited for the day. I am really digging this polkadot short and trying out new ways to wear them. Unfortunately due to the bad lighting you cannot see my gold sweater very well, but it is rather amazing. On with boots to keep me warm.
“I want a hippopotamus for Christmas” so goes our favorite Christmas song, so by golly, if there wasn’t this cute hippo print under the tree this year. Once again as found on Etsy at the shop collageORAMA
I hope you took some time and supported small companies this Christmas. I canot wait to show you everything else.
Sometimes you just need a little bit of gold to birghten your mood. Just a sneak peek at my new gold sweater I have been rocking here in December.
Look what the mailman brought….
This dream top from Won Hundred – a fantastic Danish brand. My dad in Sweden sent this to me for Christmas because I happened to mention how much I adored it. I cannot wait to style this with leggings or sknny black jeans, and definitely some super tall heels. Love, love, and adore
And so we wish a very meery Christmas or glaedelig jul as we say in Denmark. This picture is from last year, hopefully I will be able to post some later of this year’s holiday outfit.
